He loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone who would listen. He was looking to go higher heights and deeper depths in the Lord. He enjoyed working inside and outside the Church and he was Faithful in Serving the Lord. If you asked him how he was doing he was always “EXCELLENCE” because he knew and believed God’s Word “as a man thinketh so is he”. Most of all he loved praising and worshiping God.
Melvin loved spending time with family and friends, taking vacation, lying on the beach with his wife, spending time with his grandsons, going to car shows, working in his garden and fishing. He specially looks forwards to “Tuesday date night” with his wife. He enjoys working with his hands and restoring his 1948 Chevy Coup - any skill that he put his mind to he achieves.
