Joseph Frank Fiordaliso, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, in Country Rest Home, Greenwood. He was 79.

    He was born, May 9, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA to the late, Vincent &Mary(Guarino) Fiordaliso.

   Joe served proudly in the United States Air Force for 38 years;  then embarked on  a career in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer with the Philadelphia Police Department for 25 years, before retiring.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of  Police , Lodge # 5, in Philadelphia; and the Free & Accepted Masons.

   In his free time, Joe enjoyed cooking, gardening, and raising chickens; watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire; and spending time with his family.

    Joe is survived by his wife, Andrea ( Makas) Fiordaliso ;  his children, Elene Fiordaliso, of Wildwood Crest, N.J.; Timothy Fiordaliso, of Eastampton, N.J; and Joseph Fiordaliso, of Wildwood, N.J. His step-children, Jacqui Bailey & husband, Travis, of Goldsboro, MD; Eddie Leto & wife, Carmen, of Midland, Michigan; Christopher Leto, of Holland, PA; and Julie Leto, of Midland, MI. ;  and his grandchildren, Ashlee Bailey, Steven Bailey, and Alexandria Bailey, of Goldsboro, MD; and Scout Leto, of Midland,MI.

   Viewing will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE.

   Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover.

   Burial with Full Military Honors will take place at 2pm, in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Home of the Brave, 6632 Sharps Road, Milford, DE 19963.
