John (Solomon) L Green

     John (Solomon) L. Green, 90, of Felton passed away on November 12, 2017 at home.

     Mr. Green was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Green.  He is survived by three sons:  John Green, III and his wife Geneva of Atlanta, GA, Lawrence Green of Felton and Bernard Green of the Bahamas; five daughters: Diane Ireland of Missouri, Mary Ann Barrett and her husband Delancey of Rising Sun, DE, Deborah Lee Finney and her husband Ivan of Dover, Muriel Weston of Atlanta, GA, Lorene Lanza and her husband Tony of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Mervin Green of the Bahamas; six sisters: Jessie Butler (Annarine Johnson), Cecilia Outten, Ann Johnson, Mercianna Green, Florence Green and Kathy Rolle; and 14 Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Nathaniel Green and by his sister, Myrtis Sanders.

     A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Bible Way Temple Church of God in Christ, 54 Kirkwood Street, Dover, DE 19904 where there will be a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.
