John I. Beiler passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 72. John was born on May 13 1943 in Honey Brook, PA, son of the late Christian and Katie (Stoltzfus) Beiler. In his early working career he worked as an air crop duster and later was a home builder. He loved flying, reading and traveling and was active with his grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by a stillborn son Joseph L. Beiler in 1977 and a daughter Darlene E. Beiler on September 21, 2010, and a sister Anna Mary Beiler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Shirley Beiler, two sons Clayton Beiler of Camden and LeVerne Beiler (Janet) of TN, grandchildren Paula, Anthony, Craig and Bryant, nine siblings Barbara Stoltzfus (Karl), Ben Beiler (Janet), Sadie High (Dale), Miriam Beiler, Steve Beiler, Verna Beiler, Kae Wagner (Dwight), Shirley Holland (Sherrard) and Calvin Beiler.
Service will be 11:00 Thursday, July 2, at the Calvary Assembly of God, 1141 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, where friends may gather two hours earlier. A 3:00 p.m. graveside will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, following the luncheon.
