Joan Theresa Wade

   Joan T. Wade, born, April 15, 1942, passed away peacefully after a struggle with Leukemia,on December 7, 2017. She was 75.  God has called an Angel to Heaven.

    She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, William Wade. She had also lost her mother, Olive, father John, and brother, Richard Saucier, all who were from upstate Maine.

    Joan is survived by her children, Tim Wade, wife Penny, and son, Timothy; her daughter Wanda Clay, husband, Danny, and son, Daniel; her son William Wade, Jr., fiance’ Shannon Ricketts, and his children, Brooke, Riley, and Alie.

   Joan was a member of the Columbiettes, where she enjoyed being with other members and their fellowship. She retired from J.C. Penny’s. Joan enjoyed dancing with her loving husband, and was an avid 10 pin bowler in her younger years. Joan was  a wonderful and devoted Mother and Grandmother who loved being with her family and friends. We feel grateful, and honored to have known her. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.  She will not be in our presence, but she will always be in a special place in our hearts. God Blessed Us with You. Rest in Heaven.

   A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon, Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in The Church of the Holy Cross, 631 South State Street, Dover; followed by burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
