Jimmy Keith Marcum

Jimmy Marcum went to be with the LORD on October 13, 2016 at the age of 51.  He is known for playing the drums, installing floors, and swimming pools.  He also enjoyed music, hunting, fishing but most of all he was known as a family man; he never missed a single family event. 

Jimmy is survived by his wife: Dona Marcumof 27 years; SONS: Brandon and Tyler Marcum of Clayton; Brothers: Robert (Lisa) Evans of LaFollette TN, Toney Marcum of Sandtown DE, Randy (Jeannette) Marcum of Smyrna DE, Rick Marcum of Dover DE. Sisters: Marilyn (Buck) Laird of Crisfield MD, Lynn (Kenny) Duphily of Clayton DE, Reva Marcum and Pat of Dover DE, Brenda Griggs and Tommy of Clinton TN and Sister-in-laws: Shelia and Scott Heverin of Hartley DE, Linda and Chris Thomas of Henderson, MD and many nieces and nephews that he loved so much. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dallas Marcum, his son Travis Marcum and both in-laws William and Virginia Melvin.

Funeral services will be held Sunday October 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Pippin Funeral Home; 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave; Wyoming DE; Family and Friends may call from 2 PM – 3PM with service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the funeral home or to the family.
