Jeanne Charlene Keener, 82, longtime resident of Dover, DE, died June 15, 2017. “Charlene” Keener, daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Hjort, wife of the late James Keener, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Charlene was a teacher, an Air Force officer, and for the past 50 years a homemaker. She loved reading romance novels, knitting, and chatting with friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Charlene is survived by two sons, David and Steven. She is also survived by her granddaughter Bailey Keener.
A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
