Jeanette G. Lighthall, 71, of Hartly passed away on September 22, 2016 at home.
Mrs. Lighthall had been the owner of Lightning Fence in Dover for 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles. She liked to play Scrabble, feeding and watching wild birds, living on her farm caring for her animals and taking pictures.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lighthall, who died in 2004, by her brother Erskine Gillespie and by her parents Robert Gillespie and Sarah Parks. She is survived by her son Jeff Lighthall and his wife Sherry of Hartly and her daughter Jenny Weiss and her husband Kevin of Hartly; her sisters: Mary Costa of Magnolia, Sue Rosier of Buerne, TX, Florence Pinder of Centerpoint, TX, Madeline Hubbard of Church Hill, MD, Liz Chapman of Austin, TX, Carol Williams of Centerpoint, TX, Debbie Parks of Centerpoint, TX; her brother Robert Gillespie of San Antonio, TX; and three grandchildren: Katie DiLorenzo and her husband Josh of Hartly, Haley Lighthall of Hartly and Nate Lighthall of Hartly.
