James D. Hutchins, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and mother on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 22.
James was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 2013. He had been employed for Price Honda.
He enjoyed sports, especially the Philadelphia Flyers, BMX, and helping with family projects.
James is preceded in death by his mother Starr Hutchins.
He is survived by his father James D. Hutchins, Sr., sister Shelby Hutchins, paternal grandparents James and Eleanor Hutchins of Camden-Wyoming, maternal grandparents Sandra and Samuel Ernst of New Jersey, and Godmothers Danielle Karins of Margate, New Jersey and Sue Ernst Karin Percodani of Atlantic City, NJ.
Service will be 12 noon Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, where viewing will be held from 10:00 until service time. Cremation will follow service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
