Jacqueline Yvonne Fisher, of Dover, Delaware transitioned from her earthly home to eternal heavenly home on January 29, 2015 at Bayhealth Medical Center at Kent General Hospital.
Jackie, as she was affectionately called by her family, was born on January 21, 1968 in Wilmington, Delaware to Gloria “Yvonne” Fisher and Jackson Morgan.
Jackie received her education through the Christina School District. She was a volunteer at NCALL and Habitat for Humanity.
She held a variety of jobs and was a dedicated and loyal employee until her health failed her.
Jackie loved children. She helped others raise their families right along with her own children; Jaliyah, Jacquez, Tyair, Jah’niyah and Nika’kyra. Her door was always open to family and strangers alike. In addition to taking care of “her children” Jackie loved to cook and feed the multitude. She truly had a servant’s heart.
One of her greatest accomplishments was becoming a homeowner. Jackie was truly blessed as she continued to use her home as a safe haven for the children.
Jackie was a beautiful person. She was a joy to be around. She would light up the room with her beautiful smile.
She was preceded in death by her brother Jackson Morgan Jr. and her grandparents; Catherine Ransom, Maynard Jones, Irvin and Marguerite Fisher.
Jackie will be forever missed by her children; Jaliyah, Jacquez, Tyair, Jah’niyah (niece), and Nika’kyra (god-daughter); her parents, Gloria “Yvonne” Fisher of Dover, DE and Jackson Morgan,Sr. (Theresa) of Connecticut; siblings, Felicia Morgan, Markeena Fisher, Lonja fisher, Tia Morgan, Karisha Morgan, Derrick Fisher (Lisa), Maynard Jones (Teresa), Johnathan Greenville, Wendall Fisher, Devin Fisher and Kevin Fisher, Jackson Morgan, Jr.; special aunt, Carol Jones; special friends, Bobby Ross and Brenda Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 1pm, Friday, February 6, 2015, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave.,Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view 2 hours before.
