Jackie “Joe” McCorquodale, 65, of Felton, passed away suddenly on September 13, 2016, at Kent General Hospital.
Joe was a hard worker, and always willing to lend a hand. For many years he was employed at Ocean Fresh Seafood Market, and later worked as a caretaker and horse groomer. He was very friendly and outgoing, and loved to talk to and visit with everyone that passed by. He loved to roller skate and go to the local buffet to enjoy a meal, but his favorite event was attending weekly church services at Faith Life Ministries.
Joe is survived by Mitch Fisher and his wife, Pearl, who Joe affectionately called “Mom and Dad”. They were longtime friends, providing him with a home almost 30 years ago. He also leaves behind a large circle of friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934, where friends may gather one hour prior.
