Henry "David" Waller, age 80, of Dover, Delaware was born on December 30, 1936 in Laurel, Delaware. He gained his education in the Laurel School District. Over the years, he worked as a farmer ending his time with Papen Farms in Dover, Delaware in the late 90's.
He was known around town as "Mr. Dave-the handy man". He loved working with electronics, fixing and rebuilding things. His passion was building motorized bikes for people to ride. He would make sure all the kids in the neighborhood bikes were running at top speed. He rode his bike every day, going to the local Walmart, where everyone called him "Pops". He was blessed to live 80 wonderful years here on earth. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends and his Mifflin Meadows family that has come to love him over the years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Thomas Waller; his mother, Sarah Jackson; a few beloved sisters and brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory a lifelong companion Adrian Custis of Magnolia, DE; a special brother, Linwood Waller; his sisters and brothers; his son, Trancy Custis (Arnita) of Magnolia, DE; his daughters Teresa Guy (Kenny) of Felton, DE, Tina Custis of Dover, DE, Carolyn Only of Salisbury, MD; his grandsons Kenneth Guy, Jr. and Tommy Conner; his granddaughters, Chaiyonna Custis, Takema Custis, Tiyana Custis, Deasia Woodlin, Amaya Woodlin; a best friend, Joseph Marshall and a host of cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 13, 2017 at Calvary Assembly of God, 1141 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 on Monday.
