Harold G. Jobe of Marydel, Delaware went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old. Harold was born on March 16, 1933, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Fred and Nettie Jobe. He was also preceded in death by his son Mike Jobe.
After graduating high school, Harold enlisted in the United States Air Force, beginning his career as a Radio Navigator. He was a decorated veteran, serving in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He also spent many years overseas. After proudly serving his country for 21 years, he retired from the military, and continued working as a truck driver. He enjoyed working on cars, dabbling in electronics, mowing the lawn, and working in his garden. He also owned several businesses including a Tavern and Sunoco station on Rt. 113. Above all he cherished time with family and friends.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Patricia; children, Harold (Sonny) Jobe, Cindy Conley, and Denise Rawding; grandchildren, Michael (Mike) Jobe, Harold Jobe, John W. Rawding, and Crisa Rawding; and 4 great grandchildren.
Services are private and will be held at a later date.
