Glori Ann Davies

Glori Ann Davies,  of Milford, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 55.

         Glori was born August 30, 1961, in Milford to Alice E.(Truitt) Reynolds and the Late, Anthony I. Reynolds, Sr.  

    After completing her secondary education, Glori received her associate degree in Criminal Justice from Del Tech, Georgetown, and began her career at the Stephenson House Juvenile Detention Center, where she befriended many and served as an inspiration to many troubled youth. She then continued her spirit of helping others, and serving as a role model working as a Judicial Assistant for the Family Court in Georgetown. After retiring from the State of Delaware, Glori worked for the Shore United Bank, in Milford, for a short time.

    In her free time, Glori enjoyed boating, camping, playing cards, and crocheting; but her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family.

    Glori is survived by her huband of 31 years, Andrew D. Davies; 2 Children, Rebecca E. Gsell & husband, Travis, of Worton, MD. and Matthew P. Davies & wife, Candice, of Milford; her mother, Alice E.(Truitt) Reynolds, of Milford; her brother, Anthony I. Reynolds, Jr. & wife , Debbie, of Greenwood; and her 2 granddaughters,  Emma & Adaline Gsell; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Funeral Services will take place at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave.; Wyoming, DE; with a gathering of family and friends from 11am to 1 pm. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 248 E. Chestnut Hill Rd., Suite 4, Newark, DE 19713.
