     Gerald D. Shaw, 47, of Dover passed away on October 23, 2017.

      Gerald D. Shaw, also known as “Kahlil”, was born in Fayetville, NC on March 21, 1970.  He grew up in Bayonne, NJ and attended Bayonne High School where he began his music career.  He was a martial arts instructor.  Mr. Shaw was a singer. He was signed to a major record label and was featured in several music videos.  He founded and served as lead singer for a live band for many years. Recently, Mr. Shaw had been a social services technician for the State of Delaware.

     Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife Tamara R. Jubilee-Shaw; and two children, Kanisah Shaw and Kahlilah Shaw, both of Dover.  Gerald Shaw is also survived by his mothers Dorothy Shaw and Carolyn Shaw, his mother and father in law Vera Hall and Weldon Hall, father in law Leroy Jubilee, sister in law Constance Drummond, and several brothers in law including Timothy Jubilee, Darren Hall, Wendal Hall, Weldon Hall, Jr., Derrick Scretchen and a host of other family members and dear friends.

     A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
