Florence H (Bogetti) Ramage

Florence H (Bogetti) Ramage, of Magnolia Delaware, formerly of Coal Township Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016.

Florence was born in Coal Township, PA on April 21st, 1931.  Daughter of the late Peter L Bogetti and Laura H (Berger) Bogetti.

After graduating from Coal Township High School in 1949, she worked for the National Ticket Company in Shamokin PA and the Children’s Hospital in Columbus OH.

She married the “Love of Her Life” Alexander H Ramage in 1958.  They were stationed with the USAF in Ohio, Tripoli, Libya and Virginia until he was medically discharged.  Alex passed away in 1972.

Florence was an excellent cook with homemade ravioli being one of her specialties.  She was always good for a story about times gone by and had a wealth of knowledge about family heritage.  She enjoyed reading and watching old western movies and TV shows.  She was a kind gentle woman with an amazing sense of humor and she will be terribly missed.

She was a long time member of St John’s United Church of Christ in Shamokin PA.

She is survived by her brother Peter F (Vicki) Bogetti of Harrisonville PA, her nephews Peter L (Linda Lewis) Bogetti of South Bethany DE, William (Patricia) Bogetti of Magnolia DE, Travis (Lisa) Bogetti of Bear DE, Brian (Shenna) Bogetti of Kitts Hummock DE, Anthony Bogetti, Ethan Bogetti & Eli Bogetti of Bear DE.  her nieces Danielle (Virgil) Lewis of Philadelphia PA and Mackenzie Bogetti of Kitts Hummock DE. 

A graveside service will take place 12 Noon, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, PA
