Florence Barlow , of Dover, DE, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE. She was 97.
Born Florence Arnesman on March 5, 1920, in Clifton, N.J., to Cornelius & Helen (Lurik) Arnesman; she was raised in northern New Jersey.
Florence graduated from New Jersey State Teachers College on June 13, 1942; and went on to teach for over 30 years in New Jersey. She enjoyed working with the children and doing handcrafts.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lillian Reindl and Helen Pityo; and 2 brothers, Stephen & Richard Arnesman.
Florence is survived by 4 sons, William Barlow & wife, Judy ; Harvey Barlow & wife, Pat ; John Barlow & wife, Suzanne; and Phillip Barlow. ; 1 daughter, Carol Barlow & her companion, Stephanie; and a grandson, Bruce C. Barlow.
Graveside Services will take place at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, N.J. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
