Fay Louise Salicco

     Fay Louise Salicco, 91, of Viola, DE, formerly of Montoursville and Williamsport, PA passed away on August 16, 2016.

     Fay was born in Detroit, MI July 4, 1925 to the late David and Prudence (Gorman) Geurdes Jones and her step father Edward Jones. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Geurdes.

     Fay attended Williamsport High School.  Fay loved flowers and was Treasurer for many years and a past President of Montoursville Garden Club.  She was also a member of Montoursville Senior Center and Modern Maturity Center in Dover, DE. She loved crafts, sewing, crocheting and knitting. Fay was supervisor of direct mail at Grit Publishing Company in Williamsport, retiring in 1987, where she formed the Grit Retiree Club.

     Fay is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Joseph; her children: Helen Vermilya and her husband Joseph, David Kiessling, Karl Kiessling and his wife Denise, Theresa O’Neill and her husband Robert, Victoria Marino and her husband Charles, Robert Salicco and his wife Ida and Peter Salicco and his wife Judy; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

     A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 369 Broad Street, Montoursville, PA 17754 where there will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.
