Emma Catherine "Kitty" Neeman

Emma Catherine “Kitty” Neeman, 87, of Frederica, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.  Catherine was born on August 23, 1927 to the late Raymond and Inez Hall.  She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Raymond, Earl, and Claude Hall; two sisters Myrtle Wilson, and Mae Salevan; her first husband, Edward Wooters who passed away in 1969; and second husband, Roland Neeman who passed in 2013; and grandson Billy Abbott who passed in 1999.

Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed her family, and traveling to Nashville.  She grew up in the Milford-Dover area, and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School.  In her early years she worked for the State of Delaware, and also the Caesar Rodney School District; but later decided to be a stay at home wife and mother.  She will truly be missed, by all of her family and friends.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Judy Sylvester and husband Bob, of Camden; son, Mike Wooters and wife Joy, of Pennsylvania; three stepdaughters, Debbie Kenton and husband Herb, Faye Smith and husband Neil, Nancy Melvin and husband Dale, one stepson, Buster Neeman, and his wife Nancy; all of the Felton/Harrington area.  She also leaves behind to cherish her memories, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue Wyoming, Delaware 19934, where friends may call one hour prior.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Catherine’s honor can be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963.
