     Edward L. Cohee Richardson, 57, of Milford passed away on July 10, 2017 at home.

     Eddie had been a music teacher in the Caesar Rodney School District.  He enjoyed reading, cooking, antique shopping, attending paper shows in Allentown, PA and attending Broadway Shows.  He was a member of the Kent County Theater Guild.  Eddie was a piano player and director of the Rebirth Gospel Choir, formerly the Dover Air Force Base Gospel Choir for over 40 years.  He was a piano player and director for the Dover Air Force Base Protestant service for over 40 years.  Eddie taught music on the elementary and high school level at Caesar Rodney for 27 years.  Eddie was also a keyboardist for the Irish Society.  He was choir director and pianist for Beth Shalom Synagogue in Dover and he taught music and was director for the Dance Conservatory in Dover.

     Eddie is survived by his husband, Robert W. “Bear” Richardson Cohee; his cousin Gail Johnston Samis of Maryland; his sister Ruth W. Shelton of Dover; his Goddaughters, Lisa M. Shelton and Georgianna Staley Ford; and a host of relatives and friends.

     A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Dover, DE 19904 where there will be a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite #205, New Castle, DE 19720-1633.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
