Donald Louis Peer, age 46, passed away March 25, 2017 at his home surrounded by friends and family. He was born in Dover, DE January 4, 1971, the son of Loretta & the late Laurence Peer.
Mr. Peer was employed with RPJ Company as a roll off driver. He attended Dover High School and was passionate about sports. He loved Flyers Hockey, The Phillies and playing softball and football. On any given day he could be found watching Nascar or out golfing. His family said he could be relied upon at the drop of a hat and he had a big heart.
Don is survived by his wife & best friend Dawn; children, Madelyn Cole & Steven Peer; mother Loretta Peer; Brothers Larry (fiance’ Ana), Alan (Laurie) & Eric (Dawn); nephews Benjamin, Adam & Daniel; nieces, Melody, Sarah, Faith, Sophie Mariana & Anabella; Aunts, Elizabeth Kosky (Albert) & Bernice Nissen; cousins Wendy Nissen & Victoria Ryan (Patrick).
He is preceded in death by his father Laurence; brother Steven; paternal grandparents Laurence & Mary Peer & maternal grandparents Louis & Sophie Blatz; and uncle Donald Laurence Peer.
Funeral Service Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 12 Noon at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. Friends may call beginning at 10 am.
