Donald R. Carlisle, Jr., 64, of Hartly passed away on December 5, 2017 at home.
Mr. Carlisle had been a life insurance salesman for AIG in Dover, retiring after 30 years of service. He had a green thumb-he enjoyed gardening, growing his own vegetables and plants. He also loved dogs.
Mr. Carlisle is survived by four children: Kenneth Carlisle and his wife Leota of Missouri, Joel Carlisle of Ohio, Dana R. Carlisle of Harrington and Tonya McVay and her husband Matthew of Washington; one brother, David Carlisle of Hartly; 12 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren and his dog Tillie.
A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2107 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 to 11:00 on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE.
