Clara Alberta Bartko

Clara A. Bartko, of  Harrington, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 16, 2014, in Kent General Hospital.  She was 86.

        Mrs. Bartko was born June 27,1928, in Baltimore, MD; to the late, Forest &

Lillian Francis.

      She was primarily a homemaker, who lovingly cared for her 6 children. She would always do anything for her family, and made good friends wherever she went.

     Clara was a loyal member of  Manship Chapel, Felton, and enjoyed her work as a foster grandparent at Lake Forest North Elementary School.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerard C. Brandner, and Michael Bartko.

      Mrs. Bartko is survived by her children, Chuck Brandner & his wife, Tamara, with whom she resided; Barbara Brandner, of West Branch, MI.; Thomas Brandner & wife, Belinda, of Kingston, N.C.; Denise Stone and James Brandner, both of Baltimore;

Janet Campbell, of Las Cruces, NM; and many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

      A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2014, in Manship Chapel, 4912 Burnite Mill Road, Felton, DE; Pastor Bruce Tribbitt, officiating.
