Christopher Gordon, age 46 of Dover, Delaware passed away suddenly December 11, 2017.  Chris was born May 9, 1971 in Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho to Claudine and Walter Gordon.  Chris lived in Germany for a short time before moving to Delaware.

Chris was a proud graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and attended the University of Delaware and Delaware State University.  He recently began working at Food Lion.  His career path included working at MBNA for 13 years, also employment with Fordham and Dominion Brewing Company, where he first found his passion for craft beer as a brewer and Irish Mike’s Old Towne Pub. His favorite job, because of his love for children was being a Dad to Devin and assisting his wife Nicole with their home day care business.

In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his pets: Gunner, Lilywonka & Twitch, wood-working, refurbishing furniture and spending time outdoors and at the beach.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Nicole; son, Devin, parents Walter & Claudine Gordon; in-laws Tim & Sandy Smith; his brother, Jack, sisters-in law, Krissy, Alexis & Katie, his special nephew who was like a second son, William Hoilman, and special niece Aubrey Reece.  He is also survived by his aunts, uncles & cousins in France.

Funeral Service Tuesday, December 19, 2017, 12 Noon at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave.  Viewing Tuesday beginning at 10 am.  Interment to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, DE. 

Memorials may be made to Kent County SPCA.
