Carl William Zellman, Sr., 88, of Magnolia passed away on January 2, 2018 in the Christiana Hospital.
Mr. Zellman was a self-employed master carpenter, owning Woodside Carpentry in Woodside for 40 years. As a young man, he had worked in a metal shop. He liked to play shuffleboard and was an avid bowler. Mr. Zellman was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Zellman was preceded in death by his wife, Iona Zellman, who passed away on June 20, 2015. He is survived by seven children: Sandee Lees and her husband John of Chesapeake City, MD, Debbie Cummins of Florida, Joyce Zellman of New Castle, Carl W. Zellman, Jr. of Harrisburg, VA, Gregg Steven Paulson and his wife Abby of Denver, CO, Mark D. Paulson of Sussex County, DE and Sandra Robey and her husband Mike of Dover; 11 Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren; his devoted caregivers Larry and Lill Korell and his three dogs Minnie, Sophie and Katy.
A memorial service will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
