Bruce D. Bodner of Dover, Delaware passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was 55 years old. Bruce was born on January 30, 1960 in Bethleham, Pennsylvania to Robert and Margaret Bodner. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian.
Bruce had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, detailing, and everything to do with cars. He was a mechanic by trade, and could fix just about anything, a skill he learned from his Father. He was also an avid woodworker and took great pride in his work. He was a kind and gentle man, and helped anyone in need. He loved his Mother dearly, and cherished time spent with family.
Bruce is survived by his father, Robert Sr. and Tally; mother, Margaret, and her companion Darrell, who was also a long time friend of Bruce; siblings, Robert Jr. and his wife, Susan, Colleen, and Cindy and her husband, Glenn; daughter, Desiree; grand-daughter, Destiny; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE 19934. Friends may gather one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses can be sent to Pippin Funeral Home.
