Broden Lucas Welch was born on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Christiana Hospital to Brooke and Dennis Welch Jr. Shortly after his birth he gained his wings and was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents Dennis Welch Sr., and Hayli Buckley. Broden was a fighter from the beginning. He loved music and became very active when he heard his favorite songs. Although his stay was brief, he left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Broden is survived by his siblings, Arianna, Mariah, and Dennis III; great grandfather, Eugene; grandfather, Scott; grandparents, Lorraine and Fred; Aunts and Uncles, Brandee (Andrew), Bayli, Scott, Jamie (Patrick), Nikki (Daniel), Erin (Daniel), Lori, Ryan (Candice), Haley, and Lauren; cousins, Andrew Jr., Ireland, Emmet, Eavan, Kennedy, and Tessa; and numerous great Aunts and Uncles.
A Gathering will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware 19934. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am, at the Church of the Holy Cross, 631 S. State Street Dover, Delaware 19901. Burial will follow services at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, Delaware.
