Billy (B.G.) Echols

Billy (B.G.) Echols, 85, of Dover, Delaware passed away at home on February 11, 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeanette Echols; his children, Emily (Alan) Ginder of New Jersey, Bill (Liz) Echols of Florida, Fred (Breese) Echols of Kentucky, Austin (Wendy) Echols of Alaska, Texanna (Tom) McLaughlin of Ohio and Nathan Echols of New Jersey, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Bill was an active preacher for churches of Christ for 65 years, with most of his time spent in East Orange, New Jersey.  He also preached in England and St. Kitts.  He was an avid bird watcher, walker, writer and a lover of books and classical music.  He achieved his lifetime goal of visiting every U.S. state.
