Barbara Ann Cain

    Barbara Ann Cain, of Camden, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 75.

    Barbara was born April 15, 1942, in Patterson, New Jersey to the late, Paul & Alice (Barrett) Puller. She worked for 34 years as a school teacher with the Garfield School District before retiring in 1998.  She was a Junior Board Member with Valley Hospital, in Ridgewood, NJ and a Junior Board Member at Bayhealth Medical Center, in Dover. Barbara also belonged to the Dover Century Club, and attended the Whatcoat United Methodist Church, Camden.

    In her younger years Barbara was very active , and loved to swim. She did synchronized swimming, enjoyed playing tennis, and belonged to the ski club, and Tsi Chi Club at Barclay Farms.

   In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, John Cain, who passed away in 2009.

   She is survived by her sister, Virginia Banker & her husband, William, of Williamston, S.C.; 3 nieces, Debbie Banker, of Anderson, S.C., Melissa Wundrack, of Camden, S.C. and Kristy Banker, of Williamston, S.C.; her great-nieces, Kiersten, Lindsay, and Mackenzie; and a great nephew, Joey.

   A Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 am, Friday, February 9, 2018, in Whatcoat United Methodist Church, 10 Main St. Camden; where family and friends may gather from 9:30-10:30 am.
