Arthur Salizzoni, Jr. passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Harbor Health Center, Lewes, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.
He was born on August 24, 1932 in Brockway, Pennsylvania, son of the late Josephine Bertiotti and Arthur F. Salizzoni, Sr.
Arthur served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force as a flight engineer for 24 years and later worked as a small engine mechanic for Miller’s Lawn Mower and also Pugh’s Lawn Mower Service.
He was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, American Legion of Denton, Maryland and the V.F.W. of Milford, Delaware.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 47 years Barbara (Walls) Salizzoni, son George Luff, daughter Kathy May and her husband Robert, grandchildren Jessie Luff, Kristol Luff, Dennis Webb and his wife Rebakah and a great grandchild Cody Callaway, Joseph Salizzoni and his wife Elaine of Bridgeville, PA.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 1 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
