Mr Girgis and his nice family welcomed me back in the late 70 s as a french exchange student.such a nice man such a nice family.i m sorry to my warmest condoléances to all of you.

I just came across Mr. Girgis's Obit and it immediately saddened me and also brought back some fond memories of my time in his classroom my Senior year at Dover (85-86). Mr. Girgis was truly one of the most talented and caring teachers that I have ever had. I remember him being THE most patient and calm teachers and could always take a joke. Looking back, his classroom was always the highlight of my day. Rest in Peace Mr. Girgis.

I was fortunate to have Mr. Girgis as my freshman English teacher at DHS in 1970-71. He was an amazing teacher and an amazing person, highly talented and motivated. A true role model who I respected greatly. He shall be dearly missed. My deepest condolences go out to all who knew and loved him. May God Bless and keep him. ❤️
